BLITZ SERVICE - Szczecin

Clutch replacement is necessary if there are difficulties with gear shifting or an unusual sound. These symptoms indicate the presence of serious damage. The following main malfunctions are typical for the clutch:

Damage or wear of the disc and its linings;

Failure of the basket located on the clutch disc;

Damage to the flywheel that appears over time;

Loss of spring elasticity;

The appearance of oil contamination on the disc linings;
Damage to the springs (damper and diaphragm);
Detected failures in the bearing;

Release fork jammed.

A burning smell, a significant increase in gasoline consumption and engine overheating – these are the consequences to which the problems lead. If any of these malfunctions occur, you should be vigilant.

There are several main signs that will inform you about the need for clutch repair:

The clutch drives. This can be a consequence of a failure of the working cylinder, deformation of the driven disc, or even detected faults in the lever system. Most likely, you will have to replace the clutch disc.
Sudden movements in working condition. As a rule, jerking is a sign of worn springs, as well as a malfunction of the driven disc or weakening of the supports to which the engine is attached.
Stumbling. Usually observed when the hydraulic drive is clogged. Slippage can also indicate a jammed cable or a damaged release fork, as well as oil contamination.
Vibration that appears when turned on. This symptom is typical for various types of problems with disc or spring deformation.
Extraneous sounds are heard when turning off. Even such an innocuous sign as noise indicates bearing problems.

Clutch failure is always serious. If you notice any of the symptoms, we recommend that you contact us.
