Brake diagnostics help identify and eliminate brake failures at the right time, using precision diagnostic equipment. You can independently focus on the following signs:
- Increased stopping distance of the car
- The car pulls to one side while braking
- Vibrations in the brake pedal or wheel
- Unusual sounds around the wheels
- Steering wheel shakes while braking
- “Slowing down” or drop in brake pedal pressure
- Brakes and pads heat up quickly
- Disc wear depth exceeds 2mm
Possible consequences of premature brake disc replacement:
- Brake system failure and emergency braking
- Locking, misalignment of the caliper (cylinder), and failure
- Cracking of the disc
- Deformation of the disc, warping
- These consequences can lead to dangerous situations
Both discs should be replaced at the same time (on the same axle) to avoid imbalance during braking.
